Anna Maria Sempreviva
Ph.D from the Copenhagen University. From May 2014, Senior Scientist at the Wind Energy Department of the Technical University of Denmark. Previously, Head of Section at the Italian National Council of Research, Institute of Atmospheric Sciences and Climate. My scientific background is in atmospheric physics applied to wind energy, now extended to energy meteorology for energy planning and integration in the electrical grid and to urban area energy management. I have been vice chairman of the COST1002 action “WIRE”, Weather Intelligence for Renewable Energy and Italian Representative in the Steering Committee of the European Energy Research Alliance Joint Programme Wind Energy EERA JP WIND. Currently I am: in the Management Board of the FP7 Project Integrated Research Programme Wind Energy IRPWind; and co-convener of sessions at EGU (Wind Power Meteorology) and EMS (Coastal meteorology and oceanography) conferences.
