Dan Travers
Dan Travers studied as a mathematician (receiving a Masters degree) and subsequently worked in industry for 20 years, firstly as a energy analyst in trading and risk areas, and then as a product manager of risk and pricing software for financial markets. Dan has resumed studying a PhD in the areas of solar modelling and forecasting, with a particular focus in understanding the level and impacts of uncertainty in forecasts of renewable generation. He is working with the Sheffield Solar group within University of Sheffield.
