Knowledge transfer and climate services in the energy sector apply in very different ways throught different countries, regions or companies. This depends a lot of time on legal frameworks, corporate culture and internal organization of companies. Here we present our experience from several years of the NATURGY Chair at the Universidade de Vigo. We reflect on our collaboration with the company, how knowledge transfer has affected internal processes or decision-making, the main concerns and requests that we get from NATURGY and how the main markets where the company operates drive such interests and shape the NATURGY Chair. Finally we discuss how this could be different under different conditions, regions or countries.
